What official copy confirms about cleaning
The Steam store (checked 25 August 2026) says ReStory has an in-depth device cleaning and restoration system. The same page tells you to take each gadget apart, clean it, replace faulty parts, and assemble it back together.
That is the cleaning loop. The step-by-step repair order, save slots and soldering fixes stay on the repair workflow page. Named tools stay on the parts and tools database.
Sonic bath (Patch 1.0.013r)
The official 21 August 2026 patch post names the sonic bath and says it fixed items lost in the sonic bath. It does not publish a full control list, a quality meter, or which parts are safe to leave in the bath. After 1.0.013r, recover missing items by updating, then reproducing the bath step on the current client.
Spare parts, not a circuit-board table
The store confirms a Y2K-era web browser to hunt for spare parts. Demo notes also say the Airbrush and color palettes are bought on the computer. No checked official post publishes a circuit-board spawn table, vendor list or craft recipe. If you searched “how do I get circuit boards in ReStory”, use the in-game browser as the confirmed parts channel and do not treat fan tables as official.
Cleaning achievements (names only)
Steam lists 50 achievements. The store widget checked 25 August 2026 showed, among others, “Galactic cleaning!” and “Big cleaning!”. Those are official names. This page does not invent unlock conditions, hidden-task text or a 100% cleaning checklist.
