Confirmed release date

ReStory: Chill Electronics Repairs — also written in some searches as Re:Story or Re Story — released on August 6, 2026. The official Steam page lists the full game as available for Windows and macOS.

The release date applies to the full game. The separate free demo remains available and is a good way to learn the basic disassembly, cleaning, part replacement and reassembly flow before buying.

Platform and system

The official listing supports Windows and macOS through Steam. Its minimum requirements name Windows 10 x64, 4 GB of memory, a GTX 750 Ti-class GPU and 1 GB of storage. The macOS side lists macOS 14 or newer on Apple silicon (M1) with 8 GB of RAM and the Apple integrated GPU.

No PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch or Linux version is listed on the official store page as of August 12, 2026. That is not proof those versions can never happen; it only means they should not be presented as announced platforms today.

Demo availability

The free Steam demo is a separate download. It introduces the shop and lets players practice the core device-repair loop before committing to the full game.
